An Introduction- I have long been interested in the resurgence of the old web. There has been much nostalgia for dead sites such as Geocities, Myspace, Angelfire, Gaia, Livejournal, Yaplog, ect. I am too young and too new to the fashion to have participated when these sites were at their most active, so it is not a nostalgia from my past. It is a nostalgia for a time when the internet felt smaller. These blogs were much more simplistic in both layout and design than any social media platform popular now, but that added a charm that is lacking in the soulless neatly-manufactured internet of today. I wanted somewhere small to escape to, where I can interact with people who share my interests. I am pleased that many lolitas have kept up the blogging tradition in this new age.
